Elementary Teacher- New Jersey Campus

Winston Preparatory School in Whippany, NJ is seeking candidates for a full-time elementary teacher. This teacher will facilitate the growth of students in a student-centered, skill development environment focusing on research-informed, best practices following a differentiated, balanced approach and curriculum. While developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty members, the teacher will recognize and nurture the social- emotional needs of each student. 
Winston Prep is a co-ed day school for 4th through 12th grade students with learning differences such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, expressive or receptive language disorders and executive functioning problems. Our mission is to facilitate the independence of individuals with learning difficulties through assessment-driven individualized education, research and outreach.

Please consider this exciting opportunity if you possess: 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the educational field; Master’s degree and literacy instruction experience very beneficial 
  •  A minimum of two years of teaching is preferred and excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  •  Demonstrate leadership and facilitative skills, including the ability to be flexible and relate effectively with administrators, operations staff, colleagues, parents, and students.
