Alumni Success

Katie's Story
Katie Copland is a Winston Online alum who graduated in 2023. After spending most of her educational career in public school, Katie transferred to Winston Online during her junior year of high school, following lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now studying Fashion Industry and Merchandising at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Katie is passionate about making a difference through the study and use of ethical and sustainable practices in the fashion industry. Katie also works as a clerical assistant at Drexel University’s Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection.

For prospective students and families who are considering Winston Prep, Katie says that Winston is tailored to ensuring that every student can succeed, both in school and beyond. This, she argues, is what makes Winston so special.
