Transitions Gap Year Program in San Francisco

Who We Are

Winston Transitions SF is a highly individualized academic gap year day program for students with learning differences such as ADHD, dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities (NVLD), and more. The program is ideal for students ages 17 to 21+.

At Winston Transitions, students work on the skills they need to lead independent lives, preparing them for college life or the workplace. Our campus is located in the heart of San Francisco.

Often, after completing a gap year program students feel empowered to pursue a postsecondary education. Our goal is to help set young people up for lifelong success. They will emerge with the skills necessary to self advocate and thrive in the college setting, the workplace, and beyond.

Apply for our Transitions gap year program in San Francisco and give your child the real-world experience they need to thrive for life.

"What if my child needs more time before taking the next step in life?" is a question Winston Prep leaders are asked time and time again. The majority of Winston Prep students graduate and go on to post-secondary education. Still, there is a group of students who need more time.
