Summer Learning Program
Following the Winston Prep model, our online summer learning program supports students in grades 4-12, with learning differences such as dyslexia, executive functioning difficulties (ADHD), or NVLD. Our 1:1 Focus program sessions are designed to help each student strengthen their academic skills and foster independence. We welcome current Winston Online students as well as students from other private, public, mainstream, and special education settings anywhere in the country.

Individualized Instruction

Our curated summer program provides opportunities for academic enrichment and skill development, ensuring your child is ready to take on the next school year with confidence.

Each student will receive live one-on-one Focus instruction targeting areas of greatest need. All of Winston Online's summer Focus sessions are 55 minutes.

  • What materials do I need to submit?

    To complete the 2026 Summer Program application, please make sure you have the following documents ready to upload:
    • Your child's most recent report card
    • Educational evaluation (i.e. psychoeducational evaluation, IEP, etc.)
    • A recent photograph of your child
    • Teacher Assessment Survey
    Please note: Current Winston Prep students do not need to submit these documents.

    If you are unable to submit an educational evaluation, two teacher recommendations describing your child’s academic/learning/social profile are required.
  • What will my child's day look like?

    Each student will receive daily live one-to-one instruction through Winston Prep's Focus Program. The summer sessions at Winston Online target each student's individual goals in the areas of greatest need. On the summer program application, you will be prompted to add your schedule preferences.

    Please note: If there are any conflicting events during the purchased sessions (holidays, vacations, absences, or preferred different days of the week than listed below) WO can be somewhat flexible with scheduling, but last-minute cancelations may not be able to be rescheduled.

  • Who teaches the summer program at Winston Online?

    Winston Prep Summer Program teachers primarily consist of reading specialists, special education instructors, learning specialists, and speech and language pathologists from Winston Prep’s full-time faculty.
