STAMP
The Summer Theater, Arts, and Music Program (STAMP) at Winston Prep NY is designed to provide a safe and productive environment for students to meaningfully participate in the performing arts in a way that encourages creativity, expression, and scholarship in equal measure. The mission of STAMP is not based solely on performance skills but also the development of skills that carry across the academic and social spectrum. STAMP is designed to help students recognize their potential for success and improve their confidence as well as help to maintain social and language skills.

Times: Mon. - Thurs. | 9am - 2pm & Fridays | 9am - 1pm

  • What does a day at STAMP look like?

    The first half of the day focuses on skill development and performance objectives within the context of large ensemble rehearsals. Warmups and improv games help students build confidence and learn how to collaborate effectively. After lunch, students engage in smaller workshop classes that cater to specific skill-set areas and interests.

  • Camp-end Main Stage Production

    • Students will create an original production that integrates elements of improv, music, and movement
    • Culminates in a special performance for friends and family
  • Individual Attention in Rehearsal

    • Each student has a meaningful experience daily, modified to the learning needs of each performer
    • Ratio of teachers to students is purposefully kept small in order for curriculum to be effectively individualized
  • Daily Arts Workshops

    • Students will focus on specific skill sets in drama, music, and movement
    • Workshops change each year in order to effectively capture the needs and interests of participants
